With such a large client base, TUI was looking to reach their customers in a more personalized way and to increase up- and cross-sell opportunities.
Inspire
Contac created a solution for TUI via fully variable, data-driven personalized ticket packs that contained maps, pictures and offers that were customized to each retailer, customer and holiday destination. The ticket packs were sent to each customer prior to their trip and were small enough to be slipped into a purse or a pocket.
Execute
Contac and TUI revolutionized communication in the travel industry. To date, the campaign has won nine print, marketing and travel innovation awards, has dramatically increased TUI's ROI and has improved customer communication in the UK. It has also dramatically increased up- and cross-sell opportunities, specifically for seat reservations and excursions.
