Web Store Application Administrator

We are currently seeking a Web Store Application Administrator to join the Vancouver based team.

 

Reporting to the VP, Procurement Services, the web store application administrator will ensure creation of world-class web-based procurement applications with high quality, reliability and positive user experience. Working in a fast-paced team environment, the web store application administrator will be working efficiently and effectively with the stakeholders and responding to their needs and ensuring their satisfaction. The successful candidate must be a dynamic individual with intimate knowledge of the latest trends and tools utilized in web applications on the Internet and the ability to push the development boundaries.

 

Responsibilities:

• Development of web forms on our web storefront using third-party software
• Deployment and product set up of client sites based on customer expectation.
• Maintaining client sites on an ongoing basis
• Interface with web designers and backend developers to ensure positive user experience and high-quality integrated products
• Pre-release testing of the individual products
• Identify and communicate technical problems, processes and solutions
• May research and evaluate a variety of software products
• Other duties as assigned

 

Skills:

• Organized and meticulous with exceptional communication skills, professionalism, ability to multi-task and prioritize
• Computer savvy and knowledgeable understanding of website navigation
• Ability to coordinate multiple projects in deadline orientated environment
• Ability to adapt to high pressure/high volume seasons
• Ability to take responsibility and complete work with minimal supervision or as a team player
• Extensive use of MS Office tools, Photoshop and Dreamweaver

 

Experience:

• At least one year with web forms and content development
• At least one year with web navigation and online web ordering
• JavaScript and HTML experience is a definite asset

 

The ideal candidate will have a two year diploma in the preferred study area of web content development and print.  Flexibility to work on call, unusual hours or extended shifts could be necessary.
